> 1/05 EDS and the Polly Award
Starting in October of 2004 ParentCreative started the Episcopal Divinity School website. They developed a strategy and easy-to-use layout that was backed up with a secure content management system. Not only was Nancy Davidge of EDS very happy with the outcome of her
new website she explained that the faculty, students and parents were equally as happy. She explains, "“ParentCreative took the time to understand our needs in developing a new website for our school. Their solution of creating a content management website was brilliant, because it gave us ultimate control over everything. The feedback we received from students was very positive, they loved the new look, found it very informative and easy to use.”

> 11/03 Baskets and BBQ Sauce
This summer The Gifted Ones, an international gift basket company, hired us to redesign their logo. The challenging part was when we asked them who their customer is, they replied, 'everyone.' Designing a logo based on that assumption seems difficult, but the best thing to do when your potential customer could be anybody is to simplify. To use strong bold type and colors to get the message across. Take a look at what we did. The Gifted Ones logo

We have never had a bottle designed in the last 30 years we've been in business. We normally just use type, black and yellow. That's what the president of The Butcher Block, Joe Frazzica, said to Light Design Studio when they asked us to design their line of sauces in their new bottle shape using an emerging label printing method of shrink wrapping the label to the whole bottle. We had several challenges to overcome. One is to understand how the new label would adhere to the bottle and what affects that would have to the design. Also how to bring to life a non-existent look. We over came both challenges by developing a very splashy, very bold look that played off their graphic logo of a butcher. Not only does each bottle stand out in the super market but the whole line of sauces have the same look and feel. The bottle will be in a Market near you starting spring 2004. Check out how the line of sauces turned out. The Butcher Block packaging

> 4/03 Our new web site is launched
Part of moving to Hingham is also rediscovering why we love design and why the process is so rewarding. Our new web site reflects our vision for us now and for the near future. We have developed this site to help prospects best understand who we are and what we have to offer.

Light Design Studio moves to South Shore
Having recently had a child we wanted to be closer to family, a great school system, the ocean and our clients. Hingham had what we needed. Emily (formerly Andrews) Parent grew up in Hingham and looks forward to rediscovering what makes this town so wonderful.

> 12/02 Looking forward to 2003
We look forward to 2003 and reconnecting with what makes us successful; tight client relationships and providing the best strategy to design we have to offer. We also look forward to expanding our client base and making new connections
